2017 - 2020
Associate Pastor
Responsibilities: overseeing bible study ministry and training study leaders, regular teacher in adult Sunday school, discipleship and crisis counseling, overseeing church facility (40,000 sq.ft.), church liaison to the Christian school in our facility, supervised facility staff and volunteer event crews.
2020-2022
Member Care Pastor
Removal of responsibility: facilities oversight was reassigned to another staff member to free my time for ministry.
Added responsibilities: start and oversee the new youth ministry (SCBC had no formal youth ministry until 2020), start and oversee Adventure Club ministry (like AWANA), start and oversee young adults ministry, and take over the member care ministry.
Member Care consisted of new attender integration, membership, baptism, body-life events, and regional small groups which became the decentralized care ministry of SCBC.
2022-2024
Member Care Pastor
Added Responsibility: 25% pulpit ministry. Started a multi-church youth conference hosted by SCBC (go to www.steadfast.com for details) and sponsored by The Master’s University.
2024-2026
Associate Pastor | Co-Teacher
Added Responsibility: 50% pulpit ministry.
